Are Houses Getting Smaller to Tackle Housing Affordability and Urban Sprawl?
One potential answer to the housing affordability crisis is Co-Housing
What is Co-Housing?
Don't worry, you can still get your own apartment if you want it. This concept is basically taking a small amount of space (say 10%?) from each average sized apartment and putting it collectively towards shared spaces for the development. Creating communal spaces with shared activities, spaces, outlook, appliances that are better than you could afford or fit in your own apartment. The bonus is also it creates an active community and neighbourhood within your development.
